Taylor Swift just did her first podcast, and it is already a hit, with more than 9 million views in just 14 hours.
Despite being one of the most famous celebrities on the planet, Swift had never done a podcast, so when fans found out that she would be doing one, they were excited, and now that the episode is out, it has delivered. She made her debut podcast appearance on New Heights Podcast, which is co-hosted by her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.
Even though Taylor Swift used the platform to announce her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, set for release on October 3, the conversation went much further, and while fans were happy to learn more about the new album, they were more interested in learn more about Swift herself, and she did not disappoint. It was an emotional roller coaster as she talked about reclaiming ownership of her catalog, and it moved both her and Travis to tears, but ultimately, she described it as a major milestone. It wasn’t all tears, however, as there was plenty of playful banter between her and Travis, as she discussed inside jokes, talked about her hobbies, and the chemistry between the two was very obvious.
